On campus students must have a mail service account to receive mail and packages. Incoming mail is received, photographed, and scanned into our system each business day. Our new system utilizes the Shipd App to follow the chain of custody of each piece of letter mail and every package that comes through our doors. Once accepted by the system, Shipd sends instant push notifications and emails to alert the account holder they have something to pick up. The photographs taken are sent with the notifications and emails, allowing the account holder to see what they have received. Shipd gives the account holder more control over their mail with call-to-action options to destroy the item, return to sender, or forwarding. The account history of all incoming mail is available to view anytime within the Shipd App. There is no longer a need to come check for mail! Mail is accepted from all major couriers: UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL. All letter mail and packages are held at Brown or Crosby Hall for 14 business days. After 14 business days, letter mail and packages will be returned to the sender.
A mail service account is required to receive mail at Pak Mail Ole Miss.
Mail Account sharing is prohibited. Account sharing will result in returned mail. No exceptions.
The cost of the mail service is $170.00.
